Casual diningFrom zero to social

507 visits in the first week, from $101 of ads

Canton BistroLa Quinta, California

How a 26-year-old bistro went from no social accounts to its first local campaign in under a month.

The problem

Canton Bistro has served Chinese food in La Quinta, California, for 26 years. The regulars know it. New people nearby couldn't find it online.

It had no Facebook or Instagram account of its own, so the people a few miles away deciding where to eat that night never saw it.

What we did

We set up Facebook and Instagram, a simple website and a weekly plan of posts. The owners approved everything before it went out.

Then a first campaign around the restaurant: a free pineapple fried rice for people nearby who claimed the offer online.

What changed

  • 507Visits to the offer page in one week
  • 7.9%Of people who saw the ad clicked it

First campaign, September 19 to 25, 2026, on $101 of Meta ads, about $0.20 per visit. A month earlier, the accounts it ran on didn't exist.

From the founder

My dad has run restaurants his whole life.

I grew up in one. I watched guests slowly stop coming, and nobody could say why.

All of us building this are close to the restaurant industry. This isn't an outside bet on a market. It's personal.
